Wine lovers can savor a range of options by the glass or bottle. Below you’ll find the bar menus found on the Carnival Cruise Line’s ships. Carnival has a pretty robust beverage program and usually has different drinks available at nearly every bar on a ship, so you’ll see a ton of drink options below. For drinks offered at multiple venues, the prices are consistent (i.e., a Coors Light and the Atrium Bar will cost the same as a Coors Light at the Pool Bar). When looking at the prices, remember to consider gratuities. Carnival automatically adds an 18% gratuity added to all beverage purchases.

If you are looking to grab a cocktail while lounging poolside, you won’t have to go far to the two-story Red Frog Tiki Bar. With nods to those who served in the military evident in the décor, this venue has a few large screen televisions for catching a game. It also features a signature drink menu; though, there is no actual bar in the lounge.

Complete with a flickering sign, it offers a signature cocktail menu featuring classic drinks from around the world, like an aperol spritz or a Caipirnha. This was probably our favorite bar on the whole ship and we would regularly find ourselves here at night listening to the fabulous cover band that played in there. When we were on Carnival Pride in June, the ship had just come out of dry dock, so we were able to see the new Heroes Tribute Lounge firsthand. The lounges have been designed in recognition of our Service Veterans and it’s really nicely done. Randy Young is the founder and editor-in-chief at Cruise Spotlight. He has been in marketing for 19 years and has been cruising for just as long. Over the years, he's worked with products like TVs, copiers, light bulbs, and EV chargers, but cruising has always been his passion.
If you would like to know what it’s like on a Carnival Cruise Ship, please read my full Carnival Pride review from our 9 day Norwegian Fjords trip. On the Carnival Pride, we also had the Red Frog Rum Bar, up on the Lido deck. This bar was directly opposite the Blue Iguana and was always crowded as it was in a bit of a walkway, so I never used it. They had a great rotation of comedy acts during our 9 day cruise.
If you are found in violation of Carnival’s drink policies, there can be consequences. For example, if you bring alcohol onboard beyond the allowed one bottle of wine or champagne, it will be confiscated and stored until the end of the cruise. It’s essential to be aware of the terms and conditions when purchasing any drink packages. Both the Cheers and Bottomless Bubbles packages come with a daily limit on the number of drinks. Additionally, when one person in a cabin purchases a package, all other eligible people in the cabin must purchase the same package. For non-alcoholic drink enthusiasts, the Bottomless Bubbles package is an excellent choice.
Wine can be purchased by the glass in many cases, but some wines are available by the bottle only. So that $7.50 domestic beer will actually cost you $8.85. It will also help plan ahead and you can work out if you might be better off purchasing the Cheers drink package.

With two whirlpools, one on each side of the ship, the space includes a mix of loungers, day beds, and other seating options. The small bar does not offer much seating, but odds are you will grab your drink and head to a lounger, the whirlpools, or another seat nearby.

If you’re setting sail with Carnival Cruise Line and you’re looking to keep things non-alcoholic, don’t worry; your taste buds are in for a treat. You see, Carnival knows that not everyone is into cocktails and champagne. Sometimes, you just want to kick back with a cool, refreshing drink that won’t leave you nursing a hangover the next morning. In general the Carnival drink package is one of the better offers compared to most cruise lines, but there are definitely things to know in the fine print. Alchemy Bar — Are you looking for a spot where the drinks are more experimental than a typical bar?
This multi-use space is home to a variety of activities day and night from trivia, to family comedy shows, and karaoke. There is also a small bar located here, serving the standard drink menu. Located in the Gateway Zone is a brand new bar on Carnival Celebration, the Golden Jubilee Bar.
